In an alternate Underground, Sans, the pun-loving skeleton, and his brother, Papyrus, led peaceful lives. However, their idyllic existence crumbled when a relentless human embarked on an unending Genocide run. This malevolent human showed no mercy, leaving a trail of bloodshed in their wake.
Sans was determined to stop them and protect his brother, but no matter how hard he tried, he couldn't defeat this seemingly invincible adversary. Time dragged on, and the Genocide human seemed to revel in the agony they inflicted.
Years turned into decades, and Sans's life became an unending nightmare. His mind fractured as he battled the Genocide run repeatedly, watching Papyrus and countless other friends fall to the relentless human. The years of constant death and resurrection took a toll on his sanity.
As the decades wore on, Sans's determination evolved into something darker and more malevolent. He experimented with his powers relentlessly, pushing them to their limits.
